With over 21 years of medical and business experience, I take great pride in what I do. I started off at 16 working in a retail pharmacy and grew my career from there. I worked in the corporate setting for the same company for Directors and Regional Managers, helping manage 157 pharmacies and their staff. I have performed as a contract an
With over 21 years of medical and business experience, I take great pride in what I do. I started off at 16 working in a retail pharmacy and grew my career from there. I worked in the corporate setting for the same company for Directors and Regional Managers, helping manage 157 pharmacies and their staff. I have performed as a contract anaylst for their corporate office as well, negotiating PBM contracts and ensuring reimbursement rates are being paid properly. I have held a supervisor position in both long-term care and specialty pharmacies and was a trainer in most of these settings, responsible for training hundreds of staff over the years. I have been the assistant with Home Pride since 2013 as well, learning the contracting industry. I have more recently stepped into medical billing realm, but fortunately it has been extremely similar to pharmacy billing, so the transition has been smooth, but I have found a new passion for sure! All of these experiences have given me the knowledge I have today, and I apply to everything I do with Moontide Services.

For my mental health practices, I encompass all billing needs each office has needed. These include eligibility checks prior to appointments, scrubbing all patient accounts regularly, reviewing claims to ensure only clean claims are submitted in a timely fashion on a daily basis, collecting copays, submitting paper claims as needed, posting payments, calling insurance companies, credentialing and more.
For my contractor services, I answer phone calls, schedule appointments, send invoices, proposals and contracts to clients, maintain expense sheets and anything that is ever asked of me.
Regardless of who I am working for, I pride myself in open communication always. This goes for potential clients as well. I will be as honest as possible, and I am never afraid to ask a question.
